There is a lot of inconsistency from lens to lens. Therefore, the coating we applied to our replacement version was a happy median between all of the original samples we worked off.  The replacement glass is coated on both sides with multiple layers. The result is as close as we could get to the original.  I don’t want to open the floodgates for debate whether it’s the same or how off it is from the original because it’s all relative to only the copy of the lens you are comparing it to.  That said, I believe it is the best-last resort if your 85 L has broken glass that is no longer usable.\u003c\/em\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"Simmod
